Insurance giant opens channel for claims

UK-based insurance firm Prudential plc, a member of the International Business Leaders’ Advisory Council (IBLAC), has opened a green channel to deal with virus-related claims in a timely manner and set up a targeted account to support rescue efforts.

Nic Nicandrou, Chief Executive of Prudential Corporation Asia and Chairman of CITIC-Prudential Life, said China remains one of the world’s most important markets for Prudential.

“We will offer our steadfast support,” he said. “Our thoughts and best wishes for a speedy recovery are with all citizens who have been affected by this deadly virus.”
