Changshu pursues integrated growth

Changshu, in southeast Jiangsu Province, signed a batch of business agreements in Shanghai to accelerate integration of the Yangtze River Delta region.

The 24 projects, covering manufacturing, digital technology and urban development, are expected to boost growth in Changshu, which was among the fastest growing cities on the Chinese mainland.

Within one hour’s drive from Shanghai, Changshu hopes to make better use of the spillover effect of Shanghai, which plays an important role in the coordinated growth in the delta region.

Changshu plans to build up industrial parks to develop hydrogen-powered vehicles, artificial intelligence, innovation partnered with Japanese companies and financial technology.
