Local bike-sharing firm Hello Bike showcases its new AI technologies at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference this year.

The company is currently exploring new solutions in terms of user experience and urban transport management. The Hermes road safety system — with the help of AI, big data analysis and IoT technology — will safeguard users throughout their trips with malfunction detection, risk alerts and emergency intervention.

Its non-motor vehicle safety management platform is a smart system designed for monitoring violations such as illegal parking through big data analysis and cloud computing.

The company has also introduced a new parking system, which requires users to leave bikes in designated areas after their trips.

The new parking system is under testing in Fengxian District. The company will further work with Fengpu Subdistrict to regulate bike management and more designated parking areas will be set up at key business areas and Metro stations.

The company will launch its first “Technology Open Day” on July 17, allowing users to visit its headquarters and try out the newest models.
