The ongoing exhibition “Blue Realm — New Coastal Art Exhibition” marks the public opening of the CITY WALK — City Planning Exhibition Space.

The exhibition features a group of artists including Zhou Changjiang, Ding She and Bao Ying. Their works vary from canvas and ink-wash painting to sculpture and installation. Rupert Hoogewerf, founder of the Hurun Report, and Yan Peiming, a renowned Chinese-French artist, participated in the opening ceremony of CITY WALK.

Curated by Yang Jianyong, the exhibition was first held in Fenghua, Zhejiang Province, last month. Some participating artists found their inspirations in the ancient town.

“Today Cannes in France and Seto Inland Sea in Japan are widely recognized as famous art cities around the world,” Yang said. “I hope that Fenghua, a beautiful Chinese coastal town, will be the next venue in China where artists gather together through various art events and exhibitions in the future.”
