Traditional art from around the world comes to Jiading

The touring exhibition of the 10th International Exhibition of Traditional Fine Arts will be held from Saturday to August 2 in Jiading District's Juyuan New Area.

As a key cultural project of Shanghai to promote communication and exchange among cities along the Belt and Road, the exhibition was previously held and Shanghai Art Collection Museum.

Artists from China, Japan, South Korea, the United States, Australia, Iran, Romania and Hungary have brought various traditional art forms under the theme of “Many a Little Makes a Mickle.”

Visitors can see fine-patterned carpets, metal chiselled sets, bronze carvings, exquisite Tunisian fabrics, crystal glassworks and Ukrainian jewelry ornaments.

Juyuan New Area, in Jiading old town, was established in 1997. In recent years, it aims to build up a new art platform to offer the residents in the community with a series of high-quality exhibitions.
