Small screens packed with holiday programming
An array of programs will be offered on local TV channels during the eight-day National Day holiday from October 1 to 8.
Dragon TV will present variety shows such as the charity program "We Are in Action," which helps local villages sell their farm products online, the reality show "Perfect Summer" and the seventh season of the apartment renovation reality show "Dream Home."
Docu TV will air acclaimed documentary productions including "Grand Shanghai," "New China in Color," "The Yangtze River," "Chinese Villages" and "Beautiful China." These documentaries cover a wide range of topics on geography, history, culture and art.
The Yicai financial news channel will broadcast a special program "2020 Shanghai Financiers" on the night of October 1. The program will honor people dedicated to the development of the city's finance industry.
During the holiday, the documentary-style drama “Be Together” will also air on Dragon TV as a tribute to the country's many unsung heroes fighting against COVID-19.
Films such as the nature documentary "Born In China," the war epic "Wolf Warriors" and the sci-fi blockbuster "The Wandering Earth" will be shown on BesTV.
