CCG Expo 2020 coming to Shanghai in July
The 16th China International Cartoon and Game Expo) will be held at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center from July 16 to July 20. Since the pandemic, it will be the first national-level cultural event held in Shanghai during the coming summer.
Companies such as Tencent Video, Aiqiyi and Shengqu Games as well as Japanese toy company Kotobukiya, among others, will together create an immersive cultural feast of anime, manga, gaming, film and television, literature and toys for visitors.
“As a highlight, the Shanghai Gift, Animation Power Design Invitational Competition will debut at the CCG Expo,” said Yu Xiufen, head of the Shanghai Administration of Culture and Tourism.
In addition, selected comic works focusing on COVID-19 will be shown at the event.
Real-name ticketing and daily visitor limits will also be required as part of pandemic prevention and control.
