An interactive area of Calendula Pharmacy

An eye-catching Calendula Pharmacy was on show at the Shanghai New World Daimaru Department Store by Kiehl’s, an American cosmetics brand, last week.

There was a skin diagnosis and tests area at the exhibition, and visitors were offered a free skin test. An interactive area had information about ingredients which can treat acne, and how to help prevent future breakouts. Each visitor was given a sample of Kiehl’s Calendula products.

Meanwhile, directed by Han Han, one of China’s most popular authors, a short documentary “Mei Zai Pa De” (Don’t Be Afraid) was screened at the exhibition. The film, focused on the young generation, encapsulated their courage in three true stories about facing up to difficulties while making their dreams come true.

Liu Haoran, a 23-year-old Chinese actor, also showed up at the exhibition to share his own experience of the fears he faced in his life and work and the ways to overcome them.
