Section of Expo Avenue closed for construction

Part of Expo Avenue in the Pudong New Area will be shut down from Wednesday until April 30 next year due to road construction, police said on Tuesday.

The part of the avenue between Xueye No. 2 Road and Changqing Road N. will be shut to traffic all day long over the coming months.

This means that people who are going to Shanghai Minsheng Art Museum, the Expo Sports Park, Broad Auto Park and Houtan Park can't use the avenue.

A 3.5-meter-wide path on the northern side of the affected avenue will allow vehicles of companies along the avenue as well as emergency vehicles to pass, but other vehicles will be prohibited, police said.
