The Chinese flag is displayed at the head office of the French company Keolis in Paris.

The city’s Metro operator said on Thursday that it has received several donations from businesses this week.

The French company Keolis, which is a parent of the Metro operator Shanghai Keolis Public Transport Operation Management Co, donated 30,000 facial masks, as well as hand disinfectant and hand-held thermometers, the company said.

The donations arrived in Shanghai on Wednesday.

In a letter addressed to the director of Shanghai Keolis, Bernard Tabary, CEO international of the French firm, stated that his company is flying a Chinese flag at its head office in Paris as a sign of support.

Suning.com, a large retailer in China, donated 10,000 disposable gloves, 2,000 facial masks and some disinfectant wipes, sprays and hand gels to the Metro operator on Monday. Omron China donated disinfectant liquid and other goods to the operator on Tuesday.
