More of Shanghai’s A-level tourist attractions are to reopen, operators announced on Tuesday.

Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park in the Pudong New Area will reopen on Friday with visitor numbers kept under half its daily capacity.

Indoor areas will be kept under 30 percent of capacity.

Paper maps will be replaced by electronic ones, and real-name ticket purchase and reservation is required.

Purchases will be online to replace cash, its operator announced.

Tourists are required to have temperature checked, wear masks and present their health QR code for entry.

Shanghai Ocean Aquarium in Pudong will reopen on Wednesday.

Guided tours and penguin shows will be suspended, and the restaurant will stay closed. Group tours will not be allowed, and the number of visitors will be kept under half its capacity.

Visitor numbers will be controlled at any time of crowds buildup and anyone with a temperature above 37.3 degrees Celsius or symptoms such as coughing will not be allowed entry.

Visitors are being reminded to keep a distance of at least 1.5 meters from each other.
