No new imported cases reported in Shanghai

No new imported cases of novel coronavirus were reported in the city on Thursday and four imported patients, two from the US, one from the UK and one from the Philippines, were released upon recovery, said the Shanghai Health Commission on Friday morning.

So far, of all the 289 imported cases, 159 have been discharged upon recovery and 130 are hospitalized, including one in critical condition.

Another 35 imported suspected cases were undergoing test.

No new locally transmitted cases or suspected cases were reported on Thursday.

Of the 339 local cases, 330 have been discharged upon recovery and two are hospitalized, both are seriously sick. There have been so far seven local fatalities.

No asymptomatic infection cases are undergoing medical observation right now, the health commission said.
