One new imported coronavirus case was reported in the city on Saturday, said the Shanghai Health Commission on Sunday morning.

The newly diagnosed case is a Chinese studying in the US and arrived at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport on May 20. 

The patient has been transferred to the designated hospital for treatment and 25 close contacts on the same plane have been tracked down and put under quarantine and observation.

So far, of all the 327 imported cases, 315 have been discharged upon recovery and 12 are still hospitalized, including one in critical condition.

Another five imported suspected cases are undergoing test.

No new locally transmitted or suspected cases were reported on Saturday.

Of all the 341 local cases, 332 have been discharged upon recovery and two are hospitalized for treatment. There have been so far seven local fatalities.

No asymptomatic infection cases are undergoing medical observation now, the health commission said.
