The local health authority has launched a campaign against mosquitoes to reduce the risk of vector-related diseases such as dengue fever.

The local health authority has launched a campaign against mosquitoes to reduce the risk of vector-related diseases such as dengue fever.
The extended plum rain season, large quantity of ground water and high temperatures are ideal conditions for mosquito to breed.
The authority will target garbage-collection sites, kindergartens, community activity centers, wet markers, old residential complexes, construction sites and CIIE sites to conduct cleansing and chemical spraying.
Residents are also encouraged to participate in the campaign and remove surface water from ground areas.
