The two-day Shanghai-Dalian Cooperation Forum and Fourth Joint Conference opened in Shanghai on Monday, aiming to set an example for cooperative projects in east and northeast China, according to organizers.
The two cities will make joint efforts in key national strategies such as the revitalization of northeast China and the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
Dalian in northeast China's Liaoning Province is known for its port business, industrial development and tourism.
A promotional video featuring Dalian is screened on a building on the Bund.
