Authorities offer coronavirus prevention tips

Local health authorities gave guidance on coronavirus prevention and control at 10 locations across the city to warn residents to stay alert against spreading disease.

The locations include public places like schools, offices, convention centers, medical facilities, stores and supermarkets, restaurants, cinemas and hotels. Mask wearing, social distancing and personal hygiene are required in these places for disease prevention and control.

While at home, the authority reminds people of using special spoons and chopsticks to take food from shared dishes and use their own utensils to eat with. Temperature checking and health monitoring are also required and doctors warn people to visit the hospital if they experience fever.
