The COSCO ship carrying German and Danish exhibits arrives at Yangshan Port on Tuesday afternoon.

Exhibits from Germany and Denmark to be presented at the China International Import Expo next month arrived at Yangshan Port on Tuesday afternoon.

Immigration inspection authorities said they have streamlined services to enable more efficient delivery of products for the expo.

The inspectors at Yangshan Port tracked the COSCO ship which delivered the products to Shanghai for a month before it arrived, and required the agent company to declare information about the identities, service period and health status of the entire ship crew in the meantime.

Having confirmed that none of the crew had health problems in the past 18 days since the ship sailed from a port in Egypt, the inspectors gave a green light to the crew for immigration checks immediately after the ship arrived at the port, which could enable the products to be unloaded sooner.

The products from Germany weighed over 400 kilograms, including kitchen tools, cleaning tools and personal medical kits, while Danish exhibitors shipped over 60 tons of baby formula to China.
