A landslide in southwest China has killed three people and left another three missing, authorities said Sunday.

A landslide in southwest China has killed three people and left another three missing, authorities said Sunday.

Ten people were at the spot when the landslide struck a highway in Libo county, Guizhou Province, around 6pm Saturday, the local government said. One managed to escape, while three others were saved by rescuers.

Initial investigation showed that the landslide was caused by heavy downpours.
