A nine-month-old girl, together with her mother and sister, who were all infected with the novel coronavirus, was discharged from the Beijing Ditan Hospital on Friday after recovery.

The girl and her family traveled from Wuhan, the epicenter of the epidemic outbreak, to Beijing last month. Her father got a fever on Jan. 20 after they arrived at a Beijing hotel. He was later diagnosed with novel coronavirus pneumonia and admitted to a designated hospital.

The girl and her mother showed symptoms on Jan. 25 and were admitted to Beijing Ditan Hospital.

"Doctors and nurses offered us good care and treatment. We are very lucky," the girl's mother said.

Previously, the father had also been discharged from hospital after recovery. The family will stay in a designated hotel in Beijing for further quarantine and observation.

By the end of Thursday, Beijing had a total of 372 confirmed cases of novel coronavirus infection. Among them, 14 infected patients are aged below five, according to the Beijing Municipal Health Commission.
