China's Hubei reports 366 new coronavirus cases

 Hubei Province, center of the novel coronavirus outbreak, reported 366 new confirmed cases and 106 new deaths on Friday, the provincial health commission said on Saturday.

The latest report brought the total confirmed cases in the hard-hit province to 63,454.

Wuhan, the provincial capital, reported 314 new confirmed cases and 90 new deaths on Friday. In total, the city has registered 45,660 confirmed cases and 1,774 deaths.

The province also saw 1,767 patients discharged from hospital after recovery on Friday, bringing the total number of discharged patients in the province to 13,557.

Among the 41,036 hospitalized patients, 8,400 were still in severe condition and another 2,492 in critical condition.

The commission also said Hubei had 4,490 suspected cases, after 677 suspected cases were ruled out while 1,125 were added on Friday.
