Southwest China's Yunnan Province reported two imported COVID-19 cases on Sunday, the provincial health commission said Monday.

Both patients are Myanmar nationals who entered China through the border city of Ruili. One of them was previously diagnosed as an asymptomatic case.

Close contacts of the confirmed cases have been put under quarantine.

Yunnan had seven confirmed imported cases and five asymptomatic carriers as of Sunday, the commission said.
