Shanghai has sent out invitations to young footballers all over the world to participate in next summer's China (Shanghai) International Youth Football Invitational.

Shanghai sent out invitations at the weekend to young football players all over the world to participate in the 2020 China (Shanghai) International Youth Football Invitational in next year's summer vacation.
The tournament was initiated in 2015 to promote development of youth football and international friendship.
This year, 16 U17 school teams from seven countries competed in the event between July 8 and 14.
In between matches, tournament organizers held activities for participating teams to visit local tourist spots and discuss the development of campus football.
