Wushan Temple Fair

Tourists can eat snack food, watch parades, appreciate lion and dragon dances, and shop for handicraft souvenirs when they visit the Wushan Temple Fair through November 15.

Today, there is a worship ceremony devoted to Wu Zixu, a famous Chinese scholar and military general in the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC). Visitors will see a solemn worship ceremony at Wugong Temple and a grand parade along Hefang Street.

Spectacular dragon dance and lion dance will be staged from Drum Tower to Wushan Square.

On Sunday, an art parade will be held along Hefang Street for visitors to have an authentic experience of tradition.

From November 13 to 15, visitors can watch intangible cultural heritages at Gulou Square and buy the handicrafts as souvenirs.
