The Minhang Taxation Bureau has consolidated with the State Taxation Bureau of Shanghai as part of the biggest reform of China’s tax system since the mid-1990s. Yang Zhaopeng, director of Shanghai Minhang Tax Bureau said the merger is part of a process to streamline the system and make it more efficient.
