China Southern moves

China Southern Airlines has moved all its counters to the new Terminal 2 of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. Passengers on international flights transiting in Guangzhou are reminded to check in at the new terminal building.

China Southern’s affiliates — Chongqing Airlines, Sichuan Airlines and Hebei Airlines — have also moved to T2.

China Southern has fully upgraded its ground services at T2.

Self-service check-in machines have been installed to make it easier for passengers to check in and print boarding passes, the Guangzhou-based carrier said.

Passengers departing from the Chinese mainland can go to the boarding gate on the same floor if transferring to a domestic flight via Guangzhou. Transiting passengers are not required to go through security checks again, nor do they need to collect their baggage.
