Two injured in northwest China aircraft crash

TWO pilots were injured after an autogyro crashed during flight training in northwest China's Shaanxi Province on Thursday, local authorities said.

According to the Hengshan County government, an AutoGyro Calidus, belonging to the Air Sports Association of Yulin City, collided into high-voltage power lines in the village of Chendaliang, Hengshan County, at around 11:10am.

The two pilots were the only people injured. They are being treated at the county hospital, authorities said.

The association was established in March and has more than 50 members.
