Heros China Series

The third race of the Skoda Heros China Cycling Series was held at Shanghai’s Dishui Lake yesterday, attracting nearly 600 cyclists from 12 countries and regions, including France, Germany, and Britain. The event set six categories of competitions — men’s elite, women’s, U25, U35, masters and high school men’s. Competitors circled around a 4.5-kilometer track. Timothy Robin Wilcox, representing RovelRacing team, won the 36km masters group clocking 51 minutes 04.306 seconds. Liu Zhuqing, representing Cronus Tropix team, topped the 45km men’s elite group in 1:00:18.102. Jointly organized by the Shanghai Sports Bureau and the Shanghai Sports Federation, the event was also part of the 2018 Shanghai Amateur Games. The cycling series will next go to Qiandao Lake in neighboring Zhejiang Province on May 12-13 for a Huge Fondo race.
