Ono’s special bossa nova blend on Valentine’s Day

LISA Ono is bringing her romantic masterpieces to Shanghai on Chinese Valentine’s Day.

The Brazilian-born musician, who moved to Japan at the age of 10, started singing and playing the guitar five years after her arrival in the Asian country.

Since her debut in 1989, Ono has received huge acclaim for her performances, which feature her natural voice, rhythmic guitar playing and her heart-melting smile.

The 55-year-old singer has been active in America, Brazil and most Asian countries.

Her debut in China made her one of the most popular Japanese singers among Chinese audiences.

Ono has released more than 30 albums including “Nana,” “Bossa Carioca,” “Pretty World,” “Dans Mon Ile,” “Check To Check” and “Look To The Rainbow” and she presents numerous covers of classic jazz chansons with her own arrangements, such as “La Vie En Rose,” “Fly Me To The Moon” and “Don’t Know Why.”

Ono’s mixture of Brazilian bossa nova and samba elements with Japanese styles make her special in the field of jazz music.

Make a special Chinese Valentine’s date and enjoy Ono’s romantic and enthusiastic music.
