Ford names new CEO for Ford China

Ford Motor Co today announced a new chief executive officer of Ford China as it continues to strengthen global leadership team.

Jason Luo is named chairman and CEO of Ford China, according to the statement published by Ford. The appointment will be effective since September 1 this year.

In his new role, Luo will lead the company’s operations in Greater China including its import business, Lincoln business, its joint venture Changan Ford and Jiangling Motors Corporation.

"Jason will help us raise our vision in China as we become more nimble and operationally fit, expand vehicle electrification and begin to localize Lincoln vehicle assembly,” said Peter Fleet, president of Ford Asia Pacific.
