Nanjing-based autonomous driving company AllRide.ai is to set up a research and development center in Shanghai.

The center, expected to be established later this month, will conduct research and development work for technologies such as 5G and artificial intelligence which apply to autonomous vehicles. The company said it will be recruiting talent in the field of artificial intelligence, telecommunications and other areas to work in the center.

AllRide.ai, established in June 2018, is a Nanjing-based autonomous driving company which aims to provide mobility services with the help of self-driving cars to Chinese consumers. The company also said it plans to test its autonomous vehicles in Shanghai in future.
