Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance opened its first 3.0 version of smart store in Shanghai on Saturday to provide its better customer experience with state-of-the-art technology.

The flagship store, located on the Gaoke Road W. in Pudong New Area, marks the insurance giant’s efforts to transform and upgrade its customers’ service by integrating Internet with the daily life of car-owners.

Unlike traditional stores, there is an interactive screen outside the Gaoke store, which grabs the attention of passers-by with interesting games and latest information.

Entering the store, customers can make reservations for car inspection, buy car insurance and order other services in the self-service area by using iPhones and iPads, which will greatly reduce their waiting time. They can scan their faces to buy insurance products in the fancy store.

Chen Xuesong, general manager of Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance’s Shanghai branch, said they are committed to creating a new service mode of smart insurance.
