Underwriter unveils one-stop solution for enterprises

Pingan Annuity Insurance Company Ltd unveiled a one-stop welfare service solution for its enterprise clients on Friday in a bid to better meet the employees’ diversified needs for welfare management.

The new benefit platform will integrate insurance protection, health management and other annual welfare programs to offer customized services and multi-level coverage for companies and their personnel.

Employees will be able to choose products and services according to their own needs, which will greatly enhance their sense of belonging and satisfaction, according to the Shanghai-based underwriter.

Such changes come from the insurer’s strategic transformation toward a service-driven business model, said Gan Weimin, Pingan's president and chief executive officer .

For example, it has provided tailor-made health management solutions for a financial company, which has dozens of staff in over 50 cities in China. To saisfy the employees’ different needs, Pingan designed a unified system covering both public hospitals and private clinics.

The insurer is also using advances such as big data, cloud computing and artificial technologies to offer quality experiences for their customers making insurance claims and receiving pensions.
