Shanghai-based Spring Tour and Japan's biggest travel agency JTB inked an agreement and jointly launched a one-stop service platform for Japan tourism on Tuesday.

The platform on the app of Spring Tour features tailored tour experiences to Japan and covers visas, air tickets, hotels, independent tours, tourist attractions, vehicle hire and group tours.

Chinese tourists made 7.78 million visits to Japan between January and November of 2018, a rise of 14.6 percent from the same period a year earlier.

There has been an increasing demand on personalized and customized tours among Chinese travelers to Japan, and Tokyo, Hokkaido and Osaka are among the most popular destinations for Chinese tourists, the company said.

Takamatsu and Saga are more favored by young Chinese tourists, it said.
