Huifu releases new payment tool

Shanghai-based tech company Huifu announced the launch of a new payment tool, called Adapay, on Tuesday.

Adapay supports various payment platforms including Alipay, WeChat Pay and overseas payment channels. It also links smart cloud and data management services with cloud infrastructure offered by Alibaba Cloud.

Compared with other payment tools, Adapay is easy, digital and safe, making it friendly for online shoppers and offline retailers, said Yi Jun, the newly appointed chief data officer of Huifu.

In August, Huifu announced plans to establish a high-level business division, called the Technology and Data Management Committee, to demonstrate digital advances in the sector.

During the World Artificial Intelligence Conference recently held in Shanghai, Huifu established a joint big-data lab with the Fudan University.
