Alibaba's online travel unit Fliggy has launched a new operation system for its travel business, which will provide user-oriented solutions for their tourism operations.

The system will bridge different settings from accommodation to entertainment to satisfy the demands of users and involve personalized digital displays, content operation, live broadcasts, sales and interaction functions with users, Fliggy announced.

The aim is to build an intelligent digital chain for tourism businesses from sales and promotion to member management, services and brand enhancement, said Fliggy.

Fliggy reported nearly 5,000 new businesses on its platform over the past year, and one-third of businesses on the platform witnessed over a 100 percent increase in their annual sales during the period, the company said.

Marriott Hotel, Chimelong Group, a leading amusement park operator based in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, and China CYTS Tours have joined the new system, which will open to all businesses on Fliggy on November 11, the online travel platform said.
