France-based GL events is eying the huge potential of China's MICE market as it brings advanced venue management solutions to the second China International Import Expo.

In the events giant's expo debut, it is highlighting its solutions in the development of MICE destinations and the efficient use of exhibition venues.

It is also displaying its advantages in areas such as event planning, infrastructure construction and hospitality.

The company is also sharing its experience in landing big international events with typical cases selected from 315 MICE and event brands.

"China will be welcoming a large number of major events, such as the Asian Cup and 2022 Beijing Olympic Winter Games, which provides big opportunities for us," said Olivier Ferraton, the company's CEO.

"We have confidence in the huge potential of the China market, and we will fuel more Chinese cities for the success of their international events with our expertise and rich resources," he said.

One of its projects is the Guangzhou Yuexiu International Congress Center, a joint venture with Yuexiu Group, to be unveiled in May next year.

The company has provided services for events such as the Olympics, World Cups, the G20 summit and the Cannes Film Festival.
