Konica Minolta donates medical equipment and MFP to front line

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, the whole nation has been showing great concern to the dynamics of the virus fight. In recent days, Konica Minolta Inc and its affiliated China subsidiaries — Konica Minolta (China) Investment Co Ltd, Konica Minolta Business Solutions (China) Co Ltd and Konica Minolta Medical & Graphic (Shanghai) Co Ltd — have donated more than 9 million yuan (US$1.29 million) worth of medical equipment and multi-functional peripherals (MFP) to key medical institutions on the front line of the epidemic outbreak in China.

Konica Minolta donates eight SONIMAGE HS-1 Ultrasound Diagnostic Systems for the support of front-line hospitals in Wuhan.

In view of the severe epidemic situation in Wuhan, Hubei Province, Konica Minolta Inc immediately donated eight Konica Minolta SONIMAGE HS-1 worth about 6 million yuan to six front-line hospitals through the Red Cross Society of China Wuhan Branch for the observation of patients in intensive care units so as to reduce the workload of front-line medical staff.

These hospitals were Wuhan Tongji Hospital, Wuhan Union Hospital, Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University, Central Hospital of Wuhan and Jinyintan Hospital of Wuhan.

At the same time, Konica Minolta Business Solutions (China) Co Ltd donated more than 3 million yuan worth of MFP to front-line disease control organizations in all Chinese mainland provinces through dealers, with each equipment set including one Color MFP (bizhub C226) and one Black & White MFP (bizhub 185e), as well as related consumables and spare parts.
