Enterprise transforms its business mode and scope
In face of the novel coronavirus outbreak, Shanghai Jujing Precision Instrument Manufacturing Co Ltd has adjusted its business mode and scope.
The company engages in exporting preparation and testing equipment for new materials, but several overseas orders were canceled due to the COVID-19.
Jujing seized the opportunity to provide ceramic material for an automobile enterprise that was in short of such material.
It transformed its existing vacuum furnace hardware configuration to produce ceramic material with a current production capacity of 10,000 pieces per day.
The company also set up a team to explore new domestic markets. It found that 3D printing dentures and heart stents need to be treated in a high-temperature vacuum furnace, which provided an opportunity for Jujing to open up a new business.
It has received orders worth 3 million yuan (US$424,000) from medical device manufacturers and distributors.
The changes make sure the company does not need to shed a large number of jobs or cut salaries, and it expects the output value to be the same as last year at 40 million yuan.
