German consumer electronics brand Metz has officially entered the Chinese market with its new high-end TV offerings.

Metz was acquired by Chinese home appliance giant Skyworth in 2015. The introduction of Metz TVs comes as upgrading product consumers in China focus on design and craftsmanship, and are willing to pay for quality, Wang Zhiguo, Skyworth’s chairman and president, said in Shanghai.

Consumers are not satisfied with normal and single-function products; instead they want improved experiences and services, Wang added.

Metz, which attended the China International Import Expo 2019, originally planed to debut in China in the spring, with delayed because of the pandemic.
