The Shanghai Statistics Bureau last week published a comprehensive report detailing the economic and social trends in the first half of 2017. Shanghai's economy expanded 6.9 percent year-on-year in the first half of this year to 1.39 trillion yuan (US$205.6 billion), according to the Shanghai Statistics Bureau.
