China's marine industry blueprint and policies will be introduced at the  2017 China Marine Economy Expo set to be held in December in Guangdong Province, organizers said in Shanghai today.

The event, China’s only national-level comprehensive marine economy expo, will feature over 3,000 enterprises from home and abroad. The expo is apt for the State Oceanic Administration will introduce the country’s marine industry blueprint and policies as well as the latest scientific and technological innovations.

This year’s expo, to be held Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, from December 14 to 17, will set two themed pavilions and three experience zones. A series of forums, cooperation conferences and investment meetings will also be held.

Last year’s expo attracted 3,100 exhibitors from 53 countries as well as 300,000 visitors, and reported a total transactions of 43.9 billion yuan (US$6.65 billion).
