Pet fair to open in April

China has seen the development of a complete business chain in its pet industry, with exhibitors from all around the world set to gather in Shanghai next month for the Pet Expo 2018.

Also named Shanghai International Pet Expo, the fair will be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center from April 6 to 8.

More than 200 companies from 12 countries will exhibit their products and services for pets at the fair, which is organized by the Shanghai International Trade Promotion Co Ltd and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Light Industry Products and Art Crafts.

The businesses include pet food, pet appliances, pet healthcare, pet trade, pet beauty contest and pet pageant.

At the site, there will also be several contests organized by associations including the China Kennel Union and the Cat Fanciers’ Association.
