Professional women awarded for notable contributions

The International Professional Women's Society announced its Women Leadership Awards – the longest running international award of its kind.

The International Professional Women’s Society announced its Women Leadership Awards, the longest running international award of its kind, in Shanghai.

Michelle Garnaut, chief executive officer and founder of the M Restaurant Group, was given the “Lifetime Achievement” award this year for her successful career as a celebrated restaurant operator and her many cultural, community and charity initiatives like the Shanghai and Capital Literary Festivals, the Village People Project, and Mentor Walks.

Other awards were given to honor young business leaders, social contributors and innovators.

Monte Rosen, founder and managing director of ELG Shanghai, was awarded Man of the Year for his role representing men who support women.

The International Professional Women’s Society is a globally influential community of women with diverse professional backgrounds.
