Global Hangzhou promotion campaign held in Singapore
The Hangzhou Administration of Culture and Tourism held a global promotion campaign for “Hangzhou, Inspiring New Connections” at Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel in Singapore on March 20.
It’s the first time that the global promotion campaign was held in Singapore with the theme of “Hangzhou, New-Economy Mice Destination.”
Eight top convention service enterprises from Hangzhou exchanged their insights with more than 20 professional conference organizers from Singapore at the event. Singapore is one of the top meeting and incentive travel destinations in Asia.
Liu Ping, one of the Hangzhou convention ambassadors, introduced case studies of the G20 Summit, the China-Africa Private Sector Cooperation Summit, Taobao Maker Festival and the Computing Conference held in Hangzhou in recent years.
Hangzhou has become an emerging international MICE destination as the city has picturesque landscapes, rich traditional culture, dynamic new economies of internet, artificial intelligence, new energy, and a cultural and innovative sector together with MICE advantages.
The China Silk Museum and the Xiling Seal Art Society presented traditional cultures of seal carving, fan painting and weaving of silk for guests.
