More than 400 members of local and overseas business communities gathered in Shanghai on Wednesday to seek opportunities ahead of the 2019 China International Fair for Investment and Trade to be held in Xiamen, Fujian Province, in September.
This year’s CIFIT will take place together with the Belt and Road Investment Congress, focusing on the progress of Belt and Road projects. Financial institutions, including the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the Silk Road Fund and the New Development Bank, will participate.
Serbia will be the guest country at this year’s fair and Shanxi Province will be the guest province.
