Sanofi Pasteur: Bringing top vaccines from France to China

Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines division of French pharma giant Sanofi, will showcase its multiple innovative vaccine products developed with world-leading technologies, as well as an “All Scenario Protection” vaccine solution.

Flublok® is the world’s first and currently only approved genetically recombinant influenza vaccine. The vaccine provides protection against influenza and responds to influenza outbreaks more effectively and can potentially be produced within two months using genetic recombination techniques, as opposed to the current egg-based vaccine production process which requires six months.

Hexaxim® is the world’s first ready-to-use 6-in-1 vaccine, which can protect against six diseases and cut the number of doses from 15 to five, thus lowering the adverse reaction rate and reducing the risk of cross infection. It can also ease the workload of health care practitioners and soothe parental anxiety.
