Shanghai stocks close flat
Shanghai stocks closed flat on Thursday, with market sentiment weak after the country's central bank skipped open market operations via reverse repos.
The Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.05 percent to close at 2,977.33 points.
Shares in insurance companies, electronics firms and property developers were among the biggest decliners.
The People's Bank of China skipped open market operations via reverse repos on Thursday.
Guotai Junan Securities said in a note that investors in the A-share market became cautious because of the current economic environment despite stable economic data in the short term.
China’s fiscal revenue in the first three quarters rose 3.3 percent from a year earlier, the Ministry of Finance said on Thursday.
KingClean Electric Co Ltd lost 2.23 percent to 21.9 yuan (US$3.09) and Ningbo Zhongbai Co Ltd fell 2.5 percent to 9.75 yuan.
