Alibaba, SoftBank, WeWork team up for tech platform

WeWork China has formed a strategic partnership with Alibaba Cloud and SoftBank Telecom China to build a one-stop platform to help companies capture more opportunities in both China and abroad.

The platform, China Gateway, will offer a range of services which mainly include cloud-based technology solutions, enterprise services, physical workspace and curated marketing events as well as business consulting.

The trilateral partnership will focus on empowering businesses from all over the world to succeed in China and beyond, according to Alan Ai, general manager of WeWork China.

Founded in 2010, WeWork entered the China market in 2016 and has since expanded to more than 70 locations across the country.
