IFlytek, an artificial intelligence-focused tech company, on Monday signed an agreement with online healthcare platform DXY in Shanghai to introduce artificial intelligence into medical products.

They have completed the first stage of cooperation, in which DXY's professional learning and interaction platform for doctors has been installed with iFlytek's speech recognition function. Users can find what they want on DXY more easily through voice query.

For the next step, the two sides will work together further on medical services, including medical education, interaction between doctors and patients as well as the patient management.

According to Lu Xiaoliang, chief executive officer of iFlytek, the company has made many practices on the application of intelligent medical treatment. For chronic diseases, their cloud platform can collect patients' health data and analyze them to help with the treatment via the voice interactive system.
