AI products to record people's congress sessions
Artificial intelligence will be used at the Shanghai People's Congress which opens this weekend.
Shenzhen-listed iFlytek will offer AI products, including translation and voice-to-text devices, for staff and journalists at 34 halls including the Expo Center, the main venue.
The iFlytek Speech Transcriber will provide instant voice-to-text services for meetings which, it is claimed, will improve the efficiency of recording and data collation.
The process can work in off-line environment, which keeps data secure, iFlytek said.
IFlytek’s other devices at the Expo Center and other halls include translators and robots.
In September, the Shanghai government signed a strategic agreement with iFlytek on AI and related applications.
iFlytek is one of leading firms, along with Baidu and Tencent, to have issued national AI platforms. The company focuses on voice-related AI development.
